Classic band photo: Slippery Nipple

Formed in about 2006, Slippery Nipple was a popular high school band - playing in several local venues over a year or so. When they all went to uni the band ceased. Which, if I'm honest, was a good thing because 'Noj', James and Jamie went on to better things.

This photo was used in the local rags more times than I had hot dinners that year. Number of times I was credited? Once.

Exploring North Devon

My partner & I took a short break from Lichfield life and travelled down to North Devon for a few days this week. We explored the little towns and villages in and around the coastal region - stopping often for coffee and scenic views. All of the above were taken on my Fujifilm X10, which is the perfect companion for any photographer on the move.

The Maccabees

Taken last night at the Wolverhampton Civic on my Fujifilm X10. It's always tricky getting decent photos from in the crowd, but standing near the sound desk seemed to be a good decision. I'm having problems with low light 'orbs' which really affected the quality of some of the shots earlier in the set. Hopefully the firmware upgrade can alleviate the problem, or I'll have to get it swapped out.

Sam Maritza

This first one is of Sam Maritza who sadly passed away in 2010. She was a fantastic singer, an incredibly beautiful girl and a great friend.
